Castle Ruins |
This
registered World Heritage Site
is the castle ruins of the Hokuzan
(Northern Kingdom) kings and
is almost as large as Shuri
Castle in the south. The stone
walls are made from Ryukyu limestone
and are about 1.5km (2.4 miles)
long. Many visitors come to
see the magnificent view of
the sea and hillside covered
with cherry blossoms.
