Islands.

seaweed.

end of the rainy season. May 4 of the Chinese calendar marks the end of the rainy
season. The date varies from year to year, but usually falls near June 23, the
observance of the Okinawa War Memorial Day. During this season, many Dragon boat
races (Hari) are held in the waters around Okinawa. The Hari bells used to start
and cheer the race also commemorate the end of the rainy season. Caution should
be taken to prevent sunburn and skin damage from UV sunlight.
